Each week your child will bring something to class to share.  Please bring the item in bag labeled with your childs name.  The share item your child brings should be connected with what we are learning about in class.  See below for the topic each week.

We believe that oral communication is essential to a well-rounded education. You can help your child by practicing aloud at home in front of a small audience.  Your child should be able to say three things about their item.  

EX: "Boys and Girls I have something to share...."

Eventually a share award is given each day to a child who has demonstrated the qualities of a great speaker and gives good details about their sharing item.

Jan 22nd-26th: something that starts with the letter “Ii”.

Jan 15th-19th: "Free Share".

Jan 8th-12th: something that starts with the letter “Bb”.

Dec 18th-22nd: something that starts with the letter “Ff”.

Dec 11th-15th: something that starts with the letter “Nn”.

Dec 4th-8th: has the "a " sound in it.  Ex: pan, can, van, mat, hat.

Nov 27th-Dec 1st: Free Share

Nov 20th-24th: No Sharing

Nov 13th-17th: something that starts with the letter “Pp”.

Nov 6th-10th: something that starts with the letter “Cc”.

Oct 30-Nov 3: something that starts with the letter "Tt".

Oct 23-27: something that starts with the letter "Aa" or has the short “a” sound in it.

Oct 16-20: something that starts with the letter "Ss"

Oct 9-13: something that starts with the letter "Mm"

Oct 2-6: Free Share (they can pick any school appropriate item to share)

Sept 25-29: black or brown

Sept 18-22: blue or shape of a square

Sept 11-15: green or shape of a triangle

Sept 4-8: yellow or shape of a rectangle

August 28-Sept 1: red or shape of a circle

August 24-25: No Sharing
